The Gods Must be Mad!

Episode 07:

The gang gets paid for the same job twice, steals some gold and Amarath becomes a Pirate Captain (temporaily)

The group hears strange tidings that several ships had been seen heading to the island of S’Noport. Heading there they promptly discover that the Guild had sent Captain Tyrus Smythe there to hunt down a band of pirates- who also were being pursued by a band of Gnoll Slavers. Smythe attempted to hire the crew of the Scrubbucket to deal with both groups and accepted Amarath as a hostage until they did.

Following a quick encounter with some ‘Tourists’ (actually the pirates), the crew found and slaughtered the slavers with little difficulty. Afterwords however, Ulysses had to lecture Ambob and Peter on the virtues of not killing captive slaves regardless of how suspicious they looked on pain of being kicked off the Scrubbucket..

Eventually the crew found the leader of the pirates, Alexandre Cressac and listened to his offer. They agreed to aid him in dealing with getting rid of the Guild but only on being paid up front for getting rid of the Slavers. Following that they then headed back to the Guild camp, collected the reward for the Gnolls, claimed the pirates were also dead, stole the reward when they weren’t given it and sailed off into the sunset.

Having sailed for a while they were cornered by a Guild ship looking for Amarath- now believed to be a pirate captain as she had claimed to Smythe that she was “effectively in charge of the Scrubbucket". After some awkward discussion Ulysses convinced the crew of the ship that he was Captain Sardillio Di Sivlanze Junior, the adopted brother of Amarath who just so happened to be a good friend of Admiral Codd and to have absolutely know clue of his alleged sisters whereabouts.
